Pelikoneet
Tortuga Codex takes the official stylised title Tortuga CodeX, a slot machine from Belatra Games. The official Belatra page confirms the provider, an RTP of 96.06%, very high volatility, 25 lines and a maximum potential displayed at 59049x.
The pirate theme is not just cosmetic. Belatra highlights an Additional Reel placed above the main reels, Wilds, a bonus triggered by three scatters or more, as well as two rhythm options: Bet +60% and Buy Bonus. The official page consulted does not give a reliable release date, so no year is invented here.

Additional Reel and bonus
The Additional Reel spins with the main reels and can contain Wilds, pirate icons and values that interact with the scatters. This is the real reading point of the game: it is not enough to look at the classic lines, you also have to follow this upper reel because it can change the value of a spin.
The bonus is launched with three scatters or more. Belatra describes a selection of chests that can reveal win boosters or multipliers. The Buy Bonus gives direct access to this phase, while Bet +60% increases the stake by 60% and triples the chance of triggering the bonus, according to the official sheet.
Point of vigilance
The 59049x potential catches the eye, but it is precisely the type of figure that must be read with caution. The very high volatility means that the game can require long and irregular sequences before expressing its strong features. The RTP of 96.06% remains a long-term theoretical average, not an expected result over a short session.
Before playing for real money, you should check the exact version in the operator's information screen: RTP, availability of the Buy Bonus, betting limits and local rules may vary. If a demo is offered, it is still useful for understanding the pace of the game, but betting and rule information should always be cross-referenced with the version offered by the casino.
Our quick opinion
Tortuga Codex speaks mainly to players who accept high volatility to seek a real bonus phase. The game has clear figures: 25 lines, RTP 96.06%, max win 59049x, Additional Reel, Bet +60% and Buy Bonus. It is therefore less relevant for a short, cautious session than for a very structured approach to risk.
