Pelikoneet
Shadow Shifter is an ELK Studios slot. The official page presents it as a mystical slot with 5 reels and 4 rows, featuring a creature that pushes blocks to make new rows appear in a forest grid.
The official product sheet provides actionable figures: RTP 94.0%, volatility 8/10, hit frequency 23.0%, betting range EUR 0.20-100 and an announced maximum win of 10,000x the bet. The rows start at 4 and can expand up to 8.
The core of the game relies on Push & Multiplier: each win creates a column pusher, columns shift vertically, and column multipliers add up before multiplying subsequent wins.

Push & Multiplier
The most visible mechanic is the vertical shifting of the columns. After a win, the pusher generates new positions and can open up the grid to more rows. Multipliers present on each column are added together, then multiply the relevant wins.
The official Feature Symbols add several directions: Both Ways pays in both directions, Max Grow pushes the format to the maximum, and Expanding Wild and the Wild Symbol strengthen winning connections.
Bonus and X-iter
The ELK source confirms a Bonus and a Super Bonus. Multipliers and rows can remain persistent when entering the bonus, which explains the highly volatile profile indicated by the Product Sheet.
X-iter allows you to choose from five modes. The official page describes a 3x bet entry with more than three times the chance of triggering a bonus, up to a 500x bet Super Bonus with maximum rows and a 5x starting multiplier on all rows.
Our quick review
Shadow Shifter targets players who enjoy shifting grids, progressive multipliers and direct bonus buy options. Its RTP of 94.0% is lower than many ELK sheets already published on 8Fortuna, but the 8/10 volatility and the 10,000x cap provide a highly potential-oriented profile.
As always, you should check the casino information screen before playing: operator values can vary, especially on games with bonus modes and feature buys.
To compare with other ELK slot reviews, take a look at Squeeze, Stars of Orion, Sumo Sumo or Taco Brothers Derailed. The slot machine hub, the best online casinos and the online casinos France page then allow you to place the game within a wider selection.
