Space Wars Megaways XXXtreme is a NetEnt slot confirmed by the official NetEnt and Evolution pages. The slot review can therefore be framed around solid facts: a 2024 release, High volatility, a variable Megaways grid, and the XXXtreme Spins feature.
The game returns to the Space Wars universe with a 6x(2-7) structure. According to official NetEnt sources, it goes up to 117,649 ways, with Re-Spins that can trigger another reaction after a winning combination.
The RTP is not displayed exactly the same everywhere: NetEnt and games.netent.com indicate 96.16%, while Evolution displays 96.14%. This difference remains small, but it is worth noting instead of forcing a single value.

Megaways, Wilds, and Re-Spins
The gameplay revolves around Megaways and Re-Spins. When a winning combination appears, the symbols involved are removed and new symbols cascade in, which can extend the sequence as long as new wins land.
Wilds are confirmed on reels 2, 4, and 6. They substitute for regular paying symbols and are important for seeking out combinations on a grid that changes height from one spin to the next.
The role of XXXtreme Spins
The XXXtreme Spins feature is the most distinctive aspect. NetEnt indicates two levels: a mode at 10x the bet that guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways, and a mode at 75x the bet that guarantees at least 50,000 Megaways.
The feature remains active until the player manually deactivates it. It is convenient for trying out a more intense pace, but it also significantly changes the cost of each spin. The best practice is therefore to check the displayed amount before starting a session.
Player vigilance
The official volatility is High. The max payout of 14,400x the bet is attractive on paper, but the hit frequency of 15.00% serves as a reminder that this game is targeted more towards players who accept more irregular sessions.
The betting range should also be read with nuance: netent.com displays EUR 0.40 to EUR 32.00, while the betting rules visible on games.netent.com also mention a wider range depending on the gaming context. As always, the casino's help screen remains the final reference.
Our quick opinion
Space Wars Megaways XXXtreme appeals primarily to players who want a more intense NetEnt version of Megaways: plenty of possible ways, well-placed Wilds, Re-Spins, and special spin purchases. The official data is sufficient to introduce it without promising an easy ride.
To stay within the same NetEnt environment, compare it with Starburst XXXtreme, Starburst Galaxy, Starburst, or Taco Fury XXXtreme. The NetEnt page, the slot machine hub, the best online casinos, and the online casinos France page will then help you choose where to test this type of game.
