Pelikoneet
Rat King is a Push Gaming slot. The studio's official page, the launch post from 27 July 2023 and an official Q&A confirm the actual provider and the main game mechanics.
The game has a retro sweet factory theme, with a 6x6 grid and a pay-anywhere logic: at least seven identical symbols anywhere on the grid can form a win. Push Gaming highlights Collection Boxes, Star Multiplier Symbols, Rat King scatters, cascades and Free Spins. The official page displays two public RTPs, 96.30% and 94.32%, a Medium volatility and a highest observed win of 10,000x.
As always with Push Gaming, the RTP can vary depending on the casino. The correct version therefore remains the one visible in the game help, the player panel or the loading screen at the operator.
What Push Gaming Confirms
The heart of Rat King lies in the Collection Boxes placed below the grid. When a Star Multiplier Symbol falls into a box, its value is added to the round's multiplier counter. When a Rat King symbol is collected there, it feeds the Free Spins counter; three or more symbols trigger the bonus.

Collection Boxes and Star Symbols
Rat King is not a game to be presented as a simple line slot. Wins start from groups of symbols, then winning symbols are removed to let new elements fall. Star Symbols can land with multipliers and, once collected at the bottom of the grid, feed the round multiplier.
The official blog specifies that multipliers can transform the value of wins up to 500x. This figure must remain contextualised: it concerns a possible mechanic in the game model, not a session expectation.
Free Spins and Persistent Counter
The Rat King symbol acts as a scatter. When collected in a Collection Box, it contributes to the Free Spins counter; the official blog states that a minimum of three scatters opens the bonus and that additional scatters can award up to 20 spins at the start. During Free Spins, each collected Rat King adds three spins.
The most important point is the treatment of multipliers in the bonus: collected Star Symbols add their value to the counter, and this counter can remain active from one spin to the next. It is this accumulation that gives Rat King its more energetic profile than its Medium volatility suggests.
Point of Caution
The official volatility is Medium, but Rat King remains a slot with multipliers and Free Spins. Part of its appeal therefore depends on collecting symbols in the right place, not just on the presence of visible symbols on the grid. The reader should check the RTP version at the operator, especially if the casino uses the 94.32% variant.
Data not confirmed by Push Gaming is not included here: the review focuses on information that can be verified in official sources and clearly identified cross-references.
Our Quick Opinion
Rat King has a good profile: confirmed official provider, public 6x6 format, clear pay-anywhere mechanic, two displayed RTPs, readable volatility and clean official visuals. Its angle lies mainly in the combination of collections, cascades and multipliers that can gain momentum during Free Spins.
To stay in the Push Gaming universe, compare with Tiki Tumble, Razor Shark and Retro Tapes. The Push Gaming page, the slot machine hub, the best online casinos and the French online casinos then place the choice of game in that of the operator.
