Retro Sweets is a Push Gaming slot. The official Push Gaming page and the studio's launch blog confirm the provider, the title and the main features used in this sheet.
The game extends the Retro family launched with Retro Tapes, this time featuring sweets, instant prize coins and a 6x9 matrix. The official blog from 2 May 2024 presents Retro Sweets as a sequel played with cluster pays, while the game page displays High volatility, two visible RTPs of 96.49% and 94.42%, and a highest observed win of 10,000x.
Push Gaming specifies that the RTPs can vary depending on the casino. The bet, hit rate and any potential bonus buy are not forced here, due to the lack of a sufficiently clear official public source.
What Push Gaming Confirms
Retro Sweets forms Cluster Links when groups of 5 or more symbols connect. Wild Candy Symbols replace standard symbols, except for special symbols, and trigger Free Spins with 3 or more symbols. Their multiplier starts at 1x and increases by +1 when they participate in one or more winning clusters.

Wild Candy, Wild Multiplier and Instant Prizes
The Wild Multiplier Symbol carries a value of 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x. It distributes this value to all visible Wild Candy Symbols, then transforms into an Instant Prize Symbol. Instant Prizes are bet multipliers ranging from 1x to 1000x and pay when they form a cluster of 5 or more.
The official page adds an Instant Prize Multiplier Symbol which multiplies all visible Instant Prize Symbols before itself becoming an instant prize symbol. This is the real difference from a simple cluster grid: the game seeks to stack effects rather than just count groups of sweets.
Sweet Collector, Free Spins and Push Bet
The Sweet Collector Symbol chooses a paying symbol at random and attracts all identical symbols, with the possibility of also attracting Wild Candy Symbols and Instant Prizes. The official blog presents it as an evolution of the Magnet mechanic from Retro Tapes, geared towards clearer groupings.
Free Spins are triggered with 3 or more Wild Candy Symbols. The Push Bet feature also allows the bet to be increased by 2x or 4x in order to guarantee 1 or 2 Wild Candy Symbols on each base spin. This option can make it easier to enter the bonus, but it significantly changes the cost of the round.
Point of vigilance
Retro Sweets is a High volatility slot. The 10,000x potential provides a clear hook, but the best phases depend on several conditions: connected clusters, progressing Wild Candy, multiplier symbols, Instant Prizes and Sweet Collector. Without these combinations, the game can remain dry.
Caution is also advised regarding the two displayed RTPs. A 94.42% version does not have the same profile as a 96.49% version, especially on a volatile slot and with Push Bet. Before playing, it is therefore necessary to check the casino's game sheet, the player panel or the game's loading screen.
Our quick opinion
Retro Sweets has a good editorial profile: confirmed official provider, Cluster Link mechanic easy to compare with Retro Tapes, immediate sweet theme and numerous features clearly named by Push Gaming. The content remains voluntarily cautious regarding values absent from the visible official source.
To stay within the same family, compare with Retro Tapes, Tiki Tumble, Samurai's Katana and Shamrock Saints. The Push Gaming page, the slot machine hub, the best online casinos and the online casinos France then place the choice of game in the context of the operator choice.
