Pirots 3 takes the four birds to a Wild West filled with trains, dynamite and duels. Released on 25 June 2024 by ELK Studios, this instalment retains the gem collection that sets the series apart, then enriches it with a bandit capable of turning the whole board upside down.
The game starts on a 6×7 grid that can grow up to 7×8. It features a 94% RTP, high volatility, stakes from €0.20 to €100 or equivalent, and a cap of 10,000× the bet. These figures herald an irregular profile, where features count more than small, isolated wins.
CollectR turns every move into a potential payout
The CollectR™ mechanic replaces traditional lines. Each bird moves horizontally or vertically towards gems of its colour and accessible feature symbols. It can chain several collections before the next refill, making the position of the birds just as important as the value of the gems present.

Gems start at level 1 and can progress up to level 7. Above the grid, a meter counts the gems and Wilds collected by the birds. A full meter prepares a feature symbol; the game can hold up to three simultaneous drops in queue, which can heavily modify the next cascade.
Dynamite, transformations and Coin Game evolve the grid
Upgrade symbols increase one colour, while Upgrade All improves all four gems. Transform brings gems closer to the colour of the active bird, Peanut allows it to temporarily cross empty spaces, and Wilds take on the value of the corresponding level. Dynamite removes part of the board or almost the entire grid, then can add a row and a column.
If the birds or the bandit completely clear the grid, the Coin Game starts. Coin bags and scorpions appear while the characters try to lasso them. Each scorpion removes a participant; the feature ends when no birds are left in play. Progression therefore depends as much on the survival of the group as on the value of the bags collected.

Bandit Escape, duels and Train Heist change the birds' route
A collected key opens the bandit's cage. Unlike the birds, he collects gems of all colours and all feature symbols. When he reaches a bird, a duel decides which one continues on its way. If he eliminates all four, he clears the rest of the board before opening his own version of the Coin Game; if he loses, his accumulated value is paid out.
Two neighbouring birds have a chance to trigger a duel, while three or more adjacent birds guarantee it. They step aside and then shoot in multiple directions, removing or collecting the symbols hit. The Train Heist occurs when the same bird can collect on both opposite sides of the train: it then crosses the grid and receives one to three feature symbols.

Bonus, Super Bonus and X-iter focus the features
Three Bonus symbols collected in a single round award five Free Drops. Each additional Bonus symbol adds a spin. The grid size, gem level, meter and prepared drops persist during the feature. The Super Bonus starts directly on the maximum grid, which avoids using the first spins to enlarge it.
X-iter offers five entry options from 3× to 500× the bet: Bonus Hunt, Bandit Escape, Coin Game, Bonus and Super Bonus. All maintain a 94% RTP, but their cost radically changes the exposure of a single decision. The 500× mode launches the Super Bonus on the maximum grid; it should not be confused with a simple speed setting.
Which player profile is Pirots 3 for?
Pirots 3 is especially suitable for players who enjoy following a transforming grid. The movements are easy to follow, but several systems can chain together: gem upgrades, feature drops, dynamite, duels, trains and then bonuses. This density rewards observation much more than a reading limited to the amount displayed after each cascade.
However, the 94% RTP and high volatility require a bet proportioned to the budget. An enlarged grid or a nearly full meter does not guarantee the next feature, and the X-iter shortcuts can absorb several hundred base bets in a click. Setting a limit before the session remains more robust than chasing a promising configuration.
Verdict: a dense Wild West that fully exploits CollectR
The strength of Pirots 3 comes from the consistency between its setting and its features. The key frees an opponent, duels move the birds, the train crosses the grid and scorpions cut the Coin Game short. These events do not just serve the animation: they redistribute positions and determine which symbols can still be collected.
A comparison with Pirots X shows just how well ELK knows how to vary its formula. Pirots X abandons CollectR for clusters, cascades and a global multiplier; Pirots 3 remains centred on the birds' path, upgraded gems and the features triggered by their collection.
The slots catalogue also allows comparison of this model without classic lines to reels, clusters or ways-to-win slots. Pirots 3 stands out with a concrete visual progression, but its RTP and feature purchases clearly place it on the side of the most demanding games.
In the end, this instalment develops the CollectR mechanic without making it opaque. The collection rules remain simple, while the bandit, duels and Train Heist create spectacular pathways. The Bonus retains the progress already built and the Super Bonus starts at maximum, but the 10,000× cap remains a theoretical potential, never a promise of a result.
