GOKKASTEN
Taco Brothers Derailed is an ELK Studios slot built on a 6 reels / 4 rows format. The official page and ELK PDFs confirm a game centred around Walking Wilds, multiplier wilds, a Free Spins bonus, a Super Bonus and the X-iter system.
The statistical base is clear: RTP 95.0%, volatility 7/10, hit frequency 23.4%, 466 paylines, bets of 0.20-100 EUR and a maximum advertised win of 10,000x bet. This makes it a fairly offensive ELK game, but more legible than a 9/10 title.
The theme revolves around the railway, the gold rush and Santa Maria: Paso, Pepe and Pico attempt to thwart Captain Diaz. This setting is not just cosmetic, as the characters directly fuel the wild and respin mechanics.
What ELK confirms
The official ELK sheet dates the game to 9 May 2022 and refers to an official Product Sheet and Game Data Sheet. The Game Data Sheet also gives the game id 10079 and a maximum exposure of 1,000,000 coins.

Walking Wilds and multipliers
All Taco Brother symbols can appear as Walking Wilds. They trigger respins, move to the left and transform corresponding visible Taco Brother symbols into wilds. This logic gives the game its tempo: a position that looked average can rebuild itself through successive movements.
The Product Sheet adds Walking Multiplier Wilds. When a Walking Wild carries a multiplier, regular visible wilds receive the same multiplier and also become Walking Multiplier Wilds. This is the aspect to watch out for when several respins link together.
Bonus, Super Bonus and vigilance
Three bonus symbols trigger the Free Spins bonus. The Taco Brother Walking Wilds appear one after the other and award respins during their journey. Captain Diaz can lock up a Walking Wild, while Senorita can free it or pull it back towards reel 6.
X-iter allows players to jump directly to several game modes, from a 2x bet option with an increased chance of hitting the bonus to the Super Bonus at 500x bet. This is practical for understanding the range of risks, but the 95.0% RTP means you should always check the exact conditions with the operator.
Our quick opinion
Taco Brothers Derailed targets players who enjoy ELK slots with moving wilds: the game is less abstract than a simple payline grid, and the respins make the action quite lively. The point to watch remains the combination of a 95.0% RTP + 7/10 volatility: the potential is there, but this is not a game to launch without a clear session budget.
To compare with other ELK releases, take a look at Thoro, Toro Shogun, Tahiti Gold or The Wiz. The slot machine hub, the best online casinos and the online casinos France page then allow you to place the game within a wider selection.
