GOKKASTEN
Starburst Galaxy is a NetEnt slot, released as a cosmic sequel to the original Starburst. The official Evolution and NetEnt pages confirm an RTP of 96.00%, Mid / High volatility, and a playing grid that starts at 5x5 before expanding up to 7x7.
The layout stands out because wins are read in horizontal or vertical lines: 3 or more identical symbols, with no gaps, can pay anywhere on the reels. Each win then triggers an Avalanche, with winning symbols disappearing and new ones falling into place.
What official sources confirm
Evolution provides the public framework for the game, while the current NetEnt page offers more detailed product values. The figures below are therefore limited to the data officially visible during this cycle.

Avalanche and Feature Generator
The core of Starburst Galaxy relies on the Avalanche mechanic. Wins remove the winning symbols, then the grid fills up again. Each winning combination also contributes to the Feature Generator.
After five consecutive wins, a feature is randomly awarded from five official effects: Destroy, Random Wilds, Expanding Wilds, Line Transform and Upgrade. It is this layer of features that gives the game a richer profile than the classic Starburst.
Galaxy Star and Mega Star
The Galaxy Star feature can expand the playing area up to 7x7 and place a 3x3 Wild symbol. The NetEnt page also confirms a Galaxy Meter that fills up with wins and can retrigger the feature.
The Mega Star feature replaces the classic Free Spins concept with a sequence focused on Wilds and multiplier scatters. The Elevate options added to the game include Bonus Boost, Mega Star, Boosted Mega Star, Galaxy Star and Galaxy Star Bonanza.
Point of vigilance
The official visible RTP is 96.00%, but NetEnt slots can come with operator configurations. Before playing for real money, you should therefore check the casino's information screen, the version being run, and the availability of Elevate options.
Our quick opinion
Starburst Galaxy is aimed at players who want a much more structured version of the Starburst universe. The game keeps the space theme but shifts towards an Avalanche, meters and cascading features logic.
For comparisons within the same NetEnt universe, check out Starburst XXXtreme, Steam Tower or Superstars. The machine à sous page, the meilleurs casinos en ligne and the casinos en ligne France can then help place this choice within a wider selection.
