GOKKASTEN
The Rave is a Nolimit City slot machine released on 12 July 2022. The official page announces an RTP of 96.09%, a hit frequency of 25.66%, a max payout of 41,500x the bet and an active bonus mode.
The game starts on a 3x5 layout, but its real subject is the combination of the xWays, xSplit, enhancer cells and free spins features. It is a classic Nolimit City sheet: a lot of potential, many conditions, and an essential read before placing a bet.
What Nolimit City confirms

xWays, xSplit and enhancer cells
xBet costs 20% more per spin and guarantees a Scatter on the second reel. This is not a win multiplier: it is a way of increasing exposure to bonuses, so it is an option to be handled with caution since the max win and its official probability already signal a very selective profile.
xSplit Wild splits the symbols on the reel and turns into two wilds. Double xWays Wild can create a stacked wild with 6 to 11 wild symbols when two xWays land on the same reel. These features explain the very high ceiling, but they do not make the game steady.
The Drop the Bass Scatters transform two Scatters into enhancer cells. With 3 or 4 Scatters, the game launches Murder on the Dancefloor; with 5 Scatters, it launches God is a DJ. This latter mode keeps 5 enhancer cells at the bottom of the grid and guarantees a random feature such as Mashup, Crossfader or Sidechain on each spin.
Point of vigilance
The Rave displays a decent official RTP, but its max win of 41,500x and its max win probability of 1 in 5 million clearly state the type of profile: it can be spectacular, but it should not be viewed as a regular session game. Since the volatility value is not clearly readable on the official page, we are keeping it in reserve rather than copying a third-party estimate.
Another point of vigilance: the feature buy option exists, with purchasable bonuses ranging from 68x to 522x the bet according to the official source. Before any use, you should check that the option is available with the chosen operator and that your session budget can handle this level of variance.
Our quick opinion
The Rave is mainly aimed at players who like Nolimit City slots packed with features. The rave theme is just the surface; at its core, it is a machine with enhancer cells, xWays, xSplit and multiple bonuses. If you are looking for an easy read, this is not the gentlest sheet to start with.
