GOKKASTEN
Stepping Diamonds is a Play'n GO slot machine released on 10 October 2024. The official page classifies the game under the Jewels theme and the Video Slot type, while the launch article confirms a 5x3 base with a modernised fruit machine presentation.
The game sheet should primarily be understood through its two mechanics: Step 'n Win and Lock 'n Spin. Play'n GO does not publish, in the public pages consulted, any RTP value, volatility, minimum/maximum bet, or maximum player win. These points therefore remain deliberately unforced.
What official sources confirm
The official game page confirms the name, provider, theme, type, and release date. The Play'n GO article from 10 October 2024 adds the core of the gameplay: fruit symbols, diamonds, cash symbols, Gold-Framed Diamonds, a Step 'n Win counter, and a Lock 'n Spin bonus.

Step 'n Win: the climb before the bonus
Above the reels, Step 'n Win displays levels from one to five with each spin. When a Gold-Framed Diamond appears, it multiplies the value of visible cash symbols. Play'n GO indicates that this multiplier can go up to x35.
This logic gives a progressive feel to the game: the player does not only watch for classic combinations, but also the potential value of the framed diamonds. This is the part that distinguishes Stepping Diamonds from a simple fruit/diamond slot.
Lock 'n Spin: when the grid opens
Play'n GO explains that Lock 'n Spin is triggered with six or more cash symbols on a single spin. The bonus can then open up to five rows, making a maximum of 25 positions. The real stakes therefore come from the concentration of cash symbols before and during this sequence.
As the RTP, volatility, bet, and maximum win values are not visible in official public sources, the cautious approach is to verify this data in the operator's help screen. Play'n GO versions can vary depending on the market and the casino configuration.
Our quick opinion
Stepping Diamonds has a fairly clear profile: a classic base, a casino/diamond design, and two features that push the player to follow the cash symbols. The game is interesting if you are looking for a Play'n GO machine that is more readable than the large grid games, while keeping a real bonus phase.
