Enarmade banditer
Shogun's Secret is a GAMOMAT slot machine with a feudal Japan style. The studio's official page confirms a Slot Game, available on desktop and mobile, with an RTP of 96.05%, High volatility, a 5x3 grid and a choice of 5 or 10 lines.
The core of the game lies in a simple idea: embark on a quest for magical scrolls, then watch them deploy their power in the golden temple. GAMOMAT explains that these scrolls can upgrade symbols and add more free games. This gives Shogun's Secret a more progressive feel than a simple fixed-symbol slot.

Free games and upgrading feature
The feature highlighted by GAMOMAT is the combination of free games and the upgrading feature. The scroll theme is useful here: the official page speaks of symbols gaining in power, and then of additional free spins that can be added. The game should therefore appeal to players who enjoy visible progression during the bonus.
However, a clear line must be drawn: the official page does not provide bonus frequency, maximum win probability, or a specific numerical win cap. These values are therefore not invented in this review.
Card gamble and Risk ladder
The other two features listed by GAMOMAT are the Card gamble and the Risk ladder. These are risk-taking options after certain wins, closer to a double-or-nothing feature than a reel mechanic. They may suit players who like to control the pace after a win, but they also increase the variance of the session.
As always with this type of feature, the most sensible approach is to check the rules on the casino's information screen before playing with real money. The RTP published by GAMOMAT remains an official basis, but the studio specifies that additional models may exist depending on certain markets.
Player vigilance
The High volatility changes how Shogun's Secret is played. Even with a compact 5x3 grid, the game is not necessarily designed to deliver a constant thrill on every spin. Free games and upgrades focus a significant part of the excitement; it is therefore wise to maintain a comfortable bet size and accept drier spells.
The 5 or 10 lines format can give a very classic appearance, but the bonus and risk options add a layer of decision-making. It is best to read this review as a high volatility GAMOMAT game, rather than a very low-intensity fruit slot.
Our quick opinion
Shogun's Secret is interesting if you are looking for a GAMOMAT slot that is fairly traditional in its grid, but tighter in its profile. The official RTP of 96.05% is decent, the High volatility requires patience, and the lack of public bet/max win info suggests checking the casino's technical sheet before launching a real session.
