Wish Master Features
When a lamp symbol appears, the Wish Master can be summoned. NetEnt indicates that he adds a feature to an inventory that can hold up to three. Each active feature lasts for 5 consecutive spins, and the counter resets to 5 when a new activation occurs.
The four features are easy to distinguish: Extra Wild transforms one of the two highest-paying symbols into a Wild, Wild Reel locks an entire reel as a Wild, Multiplier applies a 2x or 3x multiplier to Megaways wins, and Random Wild adds 2 to 5 guaranteed Wilds on each feature spin.
Megaways and potential
The Evolution page highlights the potential of 117,649 Megaways. This means that the grid can vary greatly from one spin to another, offering a more volatile experience than a fixed-line machine. The maximum potential of 27,018x also confirms a variance-oriented profile.
Evolution displays two possible RTPs, 96.07% and 94.05%. The NetEnt sheet highlights 96.07%, but the lower version must be treated as a real possibility depending on the operator. It is therefore a value to check in the casino's information screen.
Points of caution
The high volatility does not only come from the official label: it is evident in the combination of Megaways, temporary features and high max payout. A short session can easily miss out on the best combinations of features, while a session that is too long can quickly drain your bankroll if the RTP version is low.
The official maximum bet from NetEnt is 20 EUR. Before playing with real money, you should check the RTP version, the betting limits and the potential activation of the Feature Buy at the operator.
Our quick opinion
The Wish Master Megaways is aimed at players who want a more intense NetEnt experience than classic fixed-line slots. The genie's features give the game a real identity, but the level of risk must be accepted before launching a session.
