Clusters, xNudge and xCluster
The cluster pays system rewards groups of 5 or more symbols. After a win, the winning symbols disappear and new symbols drop onto the grid, which can extend the sequence.
xCluster can expand a symbol within the cluster and grow the winning area. The xWays, xSplit, xNudge, and xBomb Wild features add multipliers, symbol splits, or explosions that push the grid toward larger clusters.
The Mule Spins and Coyote Spins bonuses build on this cluster logic, featuring a multiplier that can rise during the round. The Boosted xRip mode is also available, carrying an additional cost when offered by the operator.
Point of Vigilance
The Border is rated Extreme (10), with a potential of 44,288x and a max win probability of around 1 in 44 million. The standard RTP is decent, but the payout distribution remains highly selective.
Another point of vigilance: RTP versions of 94.07% and 92.15% exist in the game sheet. Before comparing The Border to another slot, you should therefore check the version offered in the casino's help section.
Our Quick Review
The Border is aimed at players who enjoy Nolimit City slots that are heavily packed with mechanics and variance. The cluster format makes the game more visual than a standard payline grid, but its true appeal lies in its explosive potential rather than consistency.
