Enarmade banditer
Shadow Treasure is a slot game from NowNow Gaming, officially presented by Hacksaw Gaming as the studio's first live game under the Hacksaw OpenRGS programme. The Hacksaw source primarily confirms the studio's identity, its base in Cape Town and the release of Shadow Treasure in OpenRGS.
Regarding the game parameters, the product sources Clash of Slots and iGamingToday cross-reference a 5 reels / 4 rows, 14 lines structure, an RTP of 96.29% / 94.30%, High volatility and an announced potential of 12,000x. The bet size is reported as 0.10-100 by Clash of Slots.
The useful reading is therefore simple: the NowNow Gaming / Hacksaw OpenRGS origin is officially confirmed, while the mathematical figures come from consistent product sources. Hit frequency and maximum win probability remain on reserve due to the lack of a usable dedicated source.
What the sources confirm
Hacksaw announces NowNow Gaming as a studio integrated into OpenRGS and cites Shadow Treasure as its first live game. Clash of Slots and iGamingToday then describe the sheet as an adventure video slot featuring a heroine, treasure, gems, a map, a compass, Wilds and scatters.

Stick Spin Win and Sticky Wilds
The most structural mechanic is Stick Spin Win. iGamingToday describes it as a logic where winning symbols remain in place while the other positions can spin again. Clash also categorises the game among those featuring Sticky Symbols and Sticky Wilds.
Wilds serve as substitutes on the reels, and reel multipliers can amplify certain sequences. This is what places Shadow Treasure in a family of locked respin games, closer to a pace of holding and progressing than a simple classic payline.
Free Spins and Bonus Buy
Product sources cross-reference Free Spins and the Bonus Buy feature. Clash indicates a purchase of 15 free spins for 100x the bet, with a Bonus Buy RTP of 96.27%. This value is kept as a product source, not as an official NowNow figure published in a separate math sheet.
This framing avoids a frequent confusion: the game is indeed linked to NowNow Gaming via OpenRGS, but payout parameters must always be confirmed in the version served by the operator. RTP variants can change the balance of a session.
Player Profile
Shadow Treasure targets players who enjoy 5x4 slots, fixed lines, locked respins and multipliers. The 12,000x potential and High volatility provide a profile geared towards large peaks, with potential quieter times between two real sequences.
Our Quick Opinion
The profile holds up mainly because the sources complement each other: Hacksaw confirms the NowNow/OpenRGS framework, while Clash and iGamingToday cross-reference the grid, RTP, volatility and potential values. Points not properly published, such as hit frequency and max win probability, remain voluntarily absent.
