Enarmade banditer
Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena is a Play'n GO slot. The studio's official page confirms the title, the Greek mythology universe, the Rich Wilde Wild, the Wilde Re-Spin feature and the Medusa's Gaze Free Spins.
The official Play'n GO article from 27 May 2020 also confirms the 5x3 format, the journey to Atlantis and Athena's shield inspired by the Aegis. The payout figures are not all displayed in the preserved official block; they are therefore cited as secondary data and should be verified in the game's help file at the operator.
This review aims above all to clarify the pace of the game: a base with 10 lines, a shield symbol that can become Wild, and then locked re-spins that strongly change how winning spins are read.
What the sources confirm
Play'n GO positions Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena in the Rich Wilde series. Rich serves as the Wild, Cat Wilde serves as the Scatter, and Athena's shield can trigger the re-spin sequence. BetMGM corroborates the quantifiable values not displayed in the official block consulted: RTP 96.25%, High volatility, 10 lines, 5 reels, max bet 100 and 10,000x potential.

Wilde Re-Spin: the shield that locks the spin
The key symbol is the Shield of Athena. The official Play'n GO page explains that it can awaken, become Wild and launch a Wilde Re-Spin. Each new shield or each new winning combination can then extend the sequence.
Locked shields and winning combinations remain in place until the end of the re-spins. It is this logic that gives the game its "Medusa's stone" aspect: the interesting elements freeze, and then the remaining positions continue to spin.
Rich Wild, Cat Scatter and Medusa's Gaze
Rich Wilde replaces ordinary symbols to complete combinations, except for the Scatter. BetMGM indicates that he can also be one of the highest-paying symbols when he forms a complete line.
The Scatter is Cat Wilde. The official Play'n GO page confirms that three, four or five Cat Wilde scatters trigger 10, 12 or 15 Medusa's Gaze free spins respectively. During these Free Spins, the Wilde Re-Spin logic remains active, which can extend the best spins.
Player vigilance
The RTP of 96.25%, the High volatility, the 10 lines, the betting range and the max win come from BetMGM, not from the preserved official Play'n GO block. They are useful for understanding the game's profile, but the help table available at the operator remains the priority.
The profile is particularly suited to players who accept a high-variance slot: the re-spins can create interesting peaks, but the 10,000x potential must still be read as a rare ceiling. Our quick opinion
Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena has real editorial relevance: the exact title is confirmed by Play'n GO, the theme is clear, the official visuals are clean and the Wild/Re-Spin/Free Spins mechanics provide enough material for a useful review.
The SEO weak point comes mainly from the status of the mathematical data: they are cross-referenced by a secondary source, but not all published in the official block consulted. To position the review within the 8Fortuna navigation, the machine à sous hub, the meilleurs casinos en ligne and the casinos en ligne France page remain the most useful links for the reader.
