Enarmade banditer
Trick of the Dead Wild Candies Megaways is a Red Tiger slot within the Evolution ecosystem. The Caesars sheet attributes it to Red Tiger, while BetMGM presents it on the EvolutionGroup side. Both readings are consistent: Red Tiger is part of the Evolution universe. The game uses the Megaways format, with up to 117,649 ways to win, cascades, Wilds and free spins with a progressive multiplier.
The sheet asks for a nuance regarding the RTP. BetMGM displays 95.72% and specifies that the player return may vary depending on the jurisdiction, while the Borgata rules page indicates around 92.73%. We are therefore keeping a cautious value: 95.72% / 92.73% depending on the version. This is more honest than a single figure that would not necessarily correspond to the version served by a casino.
What sources confirm
The available sources converge on the mechanical points: a 6 reels Megaways game, chain reactions, up to 117,649 ways to win, Free Spins and a Win Exchange. BetMGM also indicates a 2024 release, a volatility rated 5/5 and a maximum potential announced at 19,800x the bet.

Megaways, cascades and Wilds
The Megaways engine varies the number of visible symbols on each spin, which alters the number of ways to win. Wins then trigger chain reactions: winning symbols disappear, and then new symbols fall. The Borgata rules page also specifies that Wilds appear only on the four middle reels and replace paying symbols.
This base gives the game its pace: small wins can chain together, but the real potential comes especially when cascades feed the bonus. The Halloween, sweets and Dia de los Muertos theme is very prominent, but the useful takeaway remains fairly simple: watch out for the Candy Bag scatters, the central Wilds and the way the multiplier rises during free spins.
Free Spins and Win Exchange
The rules page indicates that 3 Free Spins scatters award 10 free spins, with +5 free spins for each additional scatter upon triggering. During the bonus, the multiplier starts at x1 and increases by +1 after each win, up to x20. Crucially, it does not reset to zero during the free spins sequence.
The Win Exchange adds a decision after certain wins. Above 60x the bet, the player can exchange 60x for the Free Spins bonus while keeping the rest. Between 20x and 60x, the feature allows you to attempt an exchange for a chance to enter the bonus. This is not an automatic winning strategy: it is a variance option, to be used only if you are willing to risk the current win.
The point of vigilance: RTP version
The real point to check before playing is the RTP version. The sources consulted show two different values: 95.72% at BetMGM and around 92.73% in the Borgata rules. The best practice is therefore to open the game information sheet in your chosen casino before wagering. With high volatility, the difference in RTP is not trivial.

Our quick opinion
Trick of the Dead Wild Candies Megaways speaks especially to players who like high variance Megaways, with cascades and a bonus that can become more tense as the multiplier increases. The game has a real hook thanks to the Win Exchange, but it requires discipline: test the demo, check the RTP of the version served, then keep a bet size suited to a machine that is clearly oriented towards volatility.
