Thunder Coin and Bonus Game
The Thunder Bonus symbol appears only on reel 2. The Bonus symbols themselves appear on reels 1 and 3. When Thunder Bonus combines with a Bonus symbol, the Thunder Coin feature collects the visible values, including jackpots, and adds them to the spin win or the Bonus Game total.
The Bonus Game starts when there is at least one Bonus symbol on each reel. The game awards 3 respins, reset to 3 with each new symbol. The jackpots listed in the guide are Mini 15x, Minor 30x, Major 100x and Grand 1000x.
The gameplay rhythm
The XXL version is larger than the classic Thunder Coins: 15 lines instead of 5, and 5 rows instead of 3. Yet it keeps a straightforward mechanism, as everything revolves around the Bonus / Thunder Bonus combination and progression in the respins.
The medium to high volatility and alternative RTPs require you to remain attentive to the version active at the operator. The observed potential is interesting, but the Default value of x5405 should still be read as a statistical simulation data point, not a promise of winnings.
Point of vigilance
The RTP varies significantly depending on the configuration: 95.60%, 94.50%, 92.50% or 90.00%. Before playing for real money, you should open the casino's information screen and confirm the exact version.
The guide also mentions a Bonus Game buy for 70x and a Super Bonus buy for 200x, which can be activated according to the operator's requirements. These shortcuts do not change the game's RTP according to the document, but they greatly increase the risk per spin.
Our quick opinion
Thunder Coins XXL: Hold and Win is a coherent sequel: more lines, more surface area for the Bonuses, but still a simple logic. The best RTP configuration remains decent without being exceptional, and the lower variants significantly alter the game's appeal.
To compare the family, start with Thunder Coins: Hold and Win. For other stormy atmospheres, also look at Thunder Of Olympus, Thunderstruck and Thunderstruck II.
