Enarmade banditer
Sumo Sumo is an ELK Studios slot officially released on 8 November 2022. The studio's page describes it as a 5 reels, 5 rows stacked slot featuring multiplier wilds, respins, and two bonus games.
The most notable point is the announced potential: 25,000x. ELK does not provide a directly usable RTP, volatility, or betting range in the public text analysed here. Therefore, these values are not speculated upon, although the official PDFs remain accessible.
This review primarily serves to separate confirmed facts from the raw matrix: provider ELK Studios, title Sumo Sumo, an absurd sumo theme, and features centred on Wild Sumo Stacks, the Speedboat Bonus, Free Spins, and the X-iter module.
What ELK Confirms
The official page confirms the format, release date, and key game modules. The official Product Sheet and Game Data Sheet are available, but clean text extraction does not allow us to include additional numerical metrics without the risk of over-interpretation.

Wild Sumo Stacks and Respins
ELK summarises the concept with a simple formula: the more sumos, the better. Adjacent or winning sumos create Wild Sumo Stacks, described as walking multiplier wilds that award respins. The game therefore encourages sequences where wilds remain active and seek to grow the multipliers.
The Free Spins are triggered with 2 Free Spins symbols. During this phase, the Wild Sumo Stacks do not leave the grid, which makes respins more significant than on a more classic five-reel grid.
Speedboat Bonus and X-iter
The Speedboat Bonus is described as a hold and spin game. Three Bonus Symbols activate it, after which coin symbols and features can generate large wins. This is the module closest to a collection bonus, with a more straightforward mechanic than the Wild Sumo Stacks feature.
ELK also confirms X-iter with five modes. The page mentions a 2x bet mode to more than double the chances of entering the bonus or Free Spins, and a 500x bet mode that directly launches a Free Spins round. This is a feature to be approached with caution, as it significantly changes the entry cost.
Our Quick Verdict
Sumo Sumo is an ELK release to be treated as a feature-driven slot, rather than a simple stats-based grid. Its appeal lies in the trio of Wild Sumo Stacks, Speedboat Bonus, and X-iter. The main caveat is the lack of specific public values for RTP, volatility, and betting range in the text source used here.
