The heart of the game: the Wild Portals that “remove” a symbol
On each spin, a Wild Portal (a 2×2 block) can appear on reels 2 to 5. When it activates, it reveals a symbol: all of its occurrences are removed from the reels, causing tumbles/cascades and increasing a multiplier attached to the Wild. If a winning combination forms, the payout is applied with the current multiplier.
Free Spins: a Wild Portal guaranteed on every turn
The Free Spins mode is the perfect playground for this mechanic: BTG announces that a Wild Portal is guaranteed on every free spin. The multiplier can continue to increase throughout the bonus, and it carries over from the triggering spin to the free spins (which can start the bonus with a bit of momentum already).
In case of a retrigger, 3 scatters restart the bonus and add 2 free spins, plus 3 for each scatter beyond the third.
Win Exchange™: exchange a big win for a bonus chance
