If you love the online casino world, you will have inevitably already heard of Sugar Rush. It is one of the most popular and widely used slot machines by players. And for good reason, besides its excellent maximum multiplier (which we will return to later in this guide), this slot is a true experience in itself.

With a candy theme, Sugar Rush operates on a cluster system. Thus, you will be entitled to progressive multipliers on each cell, which double after each winning connection. An innovative way of operating, which contributes to making this slot machine one of the most entertaining on the market.

Discover the Sugar Rush Slot Machine

Sugar Rush is a slot machine launched in June 2022 by the iGaming games provider, Pragmatic Play. It is one of the most powerful providers on the market, renowned for the quality of its games and its ability to innovate when it comes to slot machines.

Sugar Rush is, as its name suggests, a slot machine themed around the world of sweets and candy. Featuring a 7x7 grid, this slot machine operates in a classic manner, whilst incorporating the concept of group connections.

Its volatility is considered to be quite high. All these features mean that, as well as being popular with players, this slot machine is also one of the most streamed on the internet!

Symbols on Sugar Rush

Where Sugar Rush differs slightly from other slot machines is in its design. Indeed, here, there is no Wild symbol. On the other hand, there are scatters symbols which, as you might expect, allow you to unlock the bonus. In total, there are seven of them!

Naturally, these scatters are not the only symbols in the game. We find:

• classic symbols, which are represented by small gummy bears. There are three in total: the red bear, the purple bear, and the orange bear. They appear frequently and allow you to win money, even if the multiplier is quite low.

• premium symbols, which appear more rarely and number four in total. They are shaped like star, jelly bean, heart, or long-shaped candies and are, here too, of different colours (green, purple, orange, pink).

How does the bonus work on Sugar Rush?

There is only one bonus to unlock on Sugar Rush. To benefit from it, you must land at least 3 scatters symbols on a spin. The more you find, the more free spins you receive.

Here is how your spins are rewarded:

The exciting thing about the Sugar Rush bonus is that these scatters symbols can land during your bonus rounds. As a result, the free spins will add up, allowing you to potentially chain them together. If you find 3 and then 7 scatters, you are entitled to 40 free spins and so on.

As soon as the bonus is unlocked, you can hope to hit the jackpot. To do this, you can count on the multiplier symbols that will appear and above all... that will remain in place, because they are sticky. By forming combinations, you can collect them and hope to benefit from a highly lucrative total multiplier.

How to play Sugar Rush?

Sugar Rush works just like all slot machines. The first step consists of placing an initial bet. You pay for your spin and activate the machine until the reels stop spinning. In the case of a direct payout, you receive the money into your player account. In the case of a bonus, it is activated automatically. Naturally, an announcement is made on the screen.

Note that an Auto Play feature has also been integrated. This is interesting because it allows you to run the slot machine on autopilot. This means that at the end of each game or each bonus round, Sugar Rush starts a new game without you having to do anything.

Volatility, RTP, and potential payout

With Sugar Rush, Pragmatic Play has developed a slot machine with a fairly honest RTP (return to player) rate. It stands at 96%, which is right in line with what slot machines offer, although this one is at the upper end of the average.

The minimum bet is 0.20 pence, which is really accessible, even for the smallest budgets. The maximum bet is £100. The highest payout that can be achieved is x5,000, which suggests that it is possible to win up to £500,000 on Sugar Rush!

These streamers who play Sugar Rush

As we mentioned in the introduction, many streamers broadcast their Sugar Rush sessions live. Among the best known are Ekanos or TeufeurS. Whether on Twitch, YouTube, or other platforms, these streamers all seem to have been won over by the high volatility, big wins, and especially the colourful and irresistible universe of Sugar Rush.
