Tanked is a slot game from Nolimit City released in December 2024. Its play area starts on a 6x6 grid and can expand up to 9x9. There are no traditional paylines here: four commanders move across the board and collect symbols using the xLoot mechanic.
The game combines multipliers, explosions, Tank Boosters and several bonus modes. Its announced RTP is 96.04%, with a hit frequency of 20.17% and a maximum win of 25,000x the bet. The profile is extreme and features can trigger in quick succession.
A battle on the xLoot grid
The four commanders are associated with a colour and seek to collect the corresponding gems. Each move can yield symbols, Wilds or bonuses, then open up new areas on the grid. Characters also lose lives when hit by explosions or boosters.
Ammo crates serve as Wilds and can carry multipliers ranging from x2 to x1000. These values are added to the winnings of the relevant commander, making the characters' positions as important as the symbols themselves.

Tank Boosters, bombs and expansion
Tank Boosters directly modify the board. Rocket, Grenade, Power Drill and Airstrike can remove symbols, hit opponents or open up the grid. xBomb increases multipliers, while Barrel Bomb contributes to the expansion of the play area.
xNudge Wild moves down one space each spin, increasing its value. xSplit splits symbols and can double their size, value or multiplier. These features give Tanked a more tactical behaviour than a classic reel slot.
Carnage Spins, Mayhem Spins and xGod
Three bonus modes structure the game. Carnage Spins awards 5 spins, Carnage Royale offers 7 spins on a 9x9 grid, and Mayhem Spins is triggered when all characters lose their lives in the same explosion. The starting multipliers differ depending on the mode.
The xGod symbol represents the rarest outcome: it can directly trigger the maximum win of 25,000x. The announced probability for this cap is 1 in 30 million, confirming the highly volatile nature of the game.
How to follow the action on the grid?
A spin starts on the 6x6 grid with the four characters already in motion. Collected symbols are removed, new symbols take their place, and explosions can enlarge the area. You therefore need to follow the colours, remaining lives and the specific multipliers of each commander.
Features execute automatically when they appear. The game's information screen allows you to review the role of each booster, the cost of the available options and the conditions of the three bonus modes before choosing a bet.
RTP, bets and game profile
Tanked features an RTP of 96.04% and a betting range from 0.20 to 100. Bonus buying and xBet options modify the cost and pace of a session; their exact conditions are detailed in the game's help menu depending on the casino.

Our opinion on Tanked
Tanked is one of Nolimit City's most action-packed creations. The expanding grid, moving characters and explosions create an ongoing spectacle, but require some time to get used to. It will appeal most to players who enjoy complex slots, multiple bonuses and high variance.
