BetPlay.io casino is a cryptocurrency-focused gambling site. According to the domain registry, betplay.io was registered on 6 July 2020. It changed registrar on 22 April 2024, and was last modified on 11 August 2026. The name is reserved until 6 July 2030, and it is managed via Cloudflare. Nothing in this data points to a closure: the domain is maintained and renewed.

What the archives show

The Wayback Machine holds regular captures of the home page since December 2020. The most recent, dated 8 September 2026, shows that the server was still delivering the application on that date. This page contains no readable text, but it reveals a few technical elements: a rocket-shaped logo, an identity verification service (MetaMap) and a settings system hosted on flags.betplay.io.

Public settings archived on 15 April 2022 give an older picture of the site. It was then called ‘Betplay.io | Lightning Fast’, in reference to Bitcoin's Lightning Network. Casino and poker were enabled; sports betting was not. The menu offered a live casino (‘Live Dealer’), the game Aviator and a promotions page. Country blocking was enabled. This information is more than four years old: we do not use it to rate the casino.

The target audience

The archived tracking links show varied affiliate campaigns, some of which targeted French-language sites in 2025. This says nothing about the countries accepted by the terms and conditions, which we were unable to read. Remember that in France, the ANJ only licenses sports betting, horse racing betting and poker online: no online casino holds a licence there.

Mobile version

The 2022 settings enabled an installable web app on iOS, Android and Windows. We do not know whether this is still the case, or whether a native app exists today.

Ongoing promotions, cashback and VIP

In the absence of data, here are the questions to put to support before committing, if the site is accessible to you:

• Are the VIP levels described in writing, with figures for the thresholds?

BetPlay.io's current catalogue could not be viewed. The 2024 and 2025 captures preserve game addresses, in the form /casino/play/number/name, but not their content. We do not publish a number of games, for lack of a source. Sites that advertise a precise figure for BetPlay.io generally do not cite any page from the operator. The live casino is attested by the archived addresses, but we do not know which studio supplies it today. Our grid only awards a point for the live casino when it can be verified on the current site: that is not the case.

Poker and the Aviator game

In 2022, BetPlay.io also offered an online poker room, accessible from the main menu, and promoted Aviator, Spribe's ‘crash’ game. A 2025 capture still preserves the address of a Plinko game. Deposits and withdrawals at BetPlay.io

BetPlay.io's cashier and payment terms could not be viewed in 2026. We do not know which methods are accepted today, nor the minimum deposit, the minimum withdrawal, the limits, the timeframes or any fees.

The 2022 data, for the record

The settings archived in April 2022 describe an entirely crypto casino. The currencies displayed were Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Litecoin, Tether (USDT), Dogecoin, Monero and Tron. The interface text presented Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals via the Lightning Network as instant, and a third-party provider made it possible to buy cryptocurrencies with a conventional currency, with its own identity verification.

These settings also set technical amounts per currency: for example a minimum withdrawal of 5 € and a maximum of 2,000 € per transaction. We do not use them in our rating, as nothing indicates that they are still in force more than four years later.

BetPlay.io withdrawals: what you need to know

In 2022, identity verification was not required by default to withdraw. The 2026 page, however, loads an identity verification module (MetaMap), which suggests that checks now exist. We do not know at what point they take place, nor how long they take to process.

Customer support and responsible gambling

BetPlay.io's current support channels could not be verified. In 2022, the archived settings enabled a live chat provided by Freshchat, built into the site. We do not know whether it still exists, what hours it operates, in which languages, or whether an email address is published. No help centre or FAQ could be read; in 2022, the FAQ page was in fact disabled in the settings.

A player who cannot reach the site effectively cannot contact anyone: the Cloudflare block also prevents the chat from opening. This is one of the reasons we classify BetPlay.io as unreachable.

Responsible gambling

We found no viewable responsible gambling policy: no documented deposit limits, cooling-off period or self-exclusion. The 2022 interface text did not mention these tools. This does not prove that they do not exist, but no source allows us to say that they do.

Is BetPlay.io legit? Operator, licence and security

We were unable to read any legal notice from BetPlay.io: no company name, registration number, regulator or licence number. The archived 2022 settings only gave an operator name, ‘Betplay’, with no legal form. To find out whether a licence exists all the same, we checked the public registers.

What the registers say

• Curaçao: the Curaçao Gaming Authority's online gaming licence register, dated 2 October 2026, lists a company called Betplay B.V. (no. 147087), holder of licence OGL/2024/823/0990. This is a B2B licence, intended for service providers, and not a B2C licence to operate a casino open to the public. Its status is ‘Assessment in progress’. No public source links this company to the betplay.io domain.
• Curaçao, enforcement actions: no Betplay entry in the register published on 14 September 2026.
• Anjouan: the public licence register, consulted on 3 October 2026, contains no betplay.io domain.
• ANJ: no BetPlay.io address appears on the list of sites subject to a blocking order, consulted on 3 October 2026.

The Curaçao register does not publish the list of domains covered by each licence. We can therefore neither confirm nor rule out that betplay.io falls under a Curaçao licence. In the absence of any readable statement, our methodology applies the status ‘no licence advertised’.

What this means

With no identified operator and no known regulator, a player does not know which company they are entrusting their money to, nor which authority to send a complaint to. Combined with the access block, this makes any assessment of reliability impossible. BetPlay.io is also not authorised in France, where the ANJ licenses no online casino.

What we were unable to consult

All of the operator's pages: home page, terms and conditions, bonus terms, promotions, payments, responsible gambling, help and legal notices. The Wayback Machine only preserves their technical structure, and the archived content data dates from April 2022.

This score does not judge the casino's offer, which we were unable to read: it reflects the absence of verifiable information. Strengths and weaknesses

The domain is active and reserved until 2030, and the brand has existed since 2020, with a long-standing crypto focus, notably Bitcoin Lightning. It is not targeted by the ANJ blocking list. On the other hand, the site refuses access, no licence or operator can be viewed, and no figure on bonuses, payments or games can be verified.

Who is it for?
