This Clover Spin review rests on one preliminary finding: the casino is no longer operating. On 3 October 2026, the official domain www.cloverspin.com displays a single page. It announces that Cloverspin is ‘currently unavailable’ during ‘technical improvements’. Registration, play and deposits are suspended. Players can only request the withdrawal of their funds by email. All the other pages on the domain redirect to this message.

We have therefore reconstructed the offer from the copies preserved by the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive), dated from February to June 2025. Every figure in this review comes from these archives or from the official registers, and the date of each copy is given in the sources. This information describes the casino as it was in 2025. It says nothing about what Clover Spin will offer if it reopens.

The promotions page archived on 22 May 2025 presented two separate welcome offers, one for the casino and the other for sports betting:

The x35 wagering requirement explained

The bonus terms stated that ‘all deposit bonuses’ had a wagering requirement of 35, without specifying whether it applied to the bonus alone or to the deposit and bonus combined. This detail makes a big difference. Take a 100 € deposit doubled by a 100 € bonus. If the x35 applies to the bonus alone, you must wager 3,500 € before withdrawing. If it applies to the deposit and bonus, the amount rises to 7,000 €. Everything had to be played within 7 days, otherwise the bonus and associated winnings were removed from the balance.

Not all bets counted in the same way. Slots counted 100%, table games, video poker and craps 10%, and live games 0%. The maximum bet with an active bonus was 5 €, feature buys included. A bonus closed to players in France

A decisive point appeared in the same terms: France was one of the countries whose residents were not entitled to any bonus, nor to no deposit free spins. According to the rules published by the operator, the Clover Spin bonus was therefore never accessible from France.

Overview of Clover Spin casino

Clover Spin casino, written ‘Cloverspin’ on the site, was an online casino combined with a sports betting section. Its theme was based on the four-leaf clover and Irish legends: leprechauns, pots of gold and shades of green. The VIP programme thus spoke of ‘leprechauns’ watching over players. The terms and conditions in force dated from 15 October 2024, in version 2.5, with a first text effective from 27 August 2023.

The site was built on a turnkey casino platform, with a very large catalogue and an in-house three-tier jackpot (Mega, Grand and Static), funded by bets. It was offered in six language versions: English, French, Canadian English, Canadian French, Australian English and German. The archived French FAQ mentioned an offer of 500 €, a sign that French-speaking Canada was one of the target markets.

A casino that excluded France

The French version of the site should not mislead anyone. Article 3 of the terms and conditions set out a long list of countries whose residents could neither deposit nor play for real money. France was on it, as were French Guiana, Guadeloupe, French Polynesia, Réunion, Mayotte and New Caledonia. The casino stated that it could not guarantee payment of winnings to a player who had breached this rule.

Remember too that in France, the Autorité nationale des jeux (ANJ) only licenses sports betting, horse racing betting and poker online. No online casino holds a licence there.

Mobile version and current status

The archives mention no downloadable app. The site was used from the browser, on computer and phone alike, with a demo mode to try games without real money. These features are no longer available: since summer 2025, the domain only displays the maintenance message. The last complete copy of the home page in the Wayback Machine dates from 24 June 2025. A capture from 13 August 2025 already returns an error.

Another domain, cloverspincasino.com, uses the brand name and presents the same bonus in French. The terms and conditions make no mention of it: only www.cloverspin.com is named there as the operator's site. We were unable to identify the publisher of this second site.

Ongoing promotions and VIP programme

Beyond the welcome offer, the promotions page archived in May 2025 presented a weekly schedule of reload bonuses. All followed the same rules: minimum deposit of 20 €, x35 wagering, maximum bet of 5 € and 7 days' validity.

The Sunday tournament ranked players by the highest multiplier achieved in a single spin on Playson and Booongo games, with a minimum bet of 0.50 € and at least 100 spins played.

The invitation-only VIP programme

Clover Spin's VIP programme published neither levels nor a points scale. The archived page stated that VIP status was granted ‘by invitation only’ and could be withdrawn at the casino's discretion. The advertised perks remained generic: enhanced promotions, bonuses based on activity, exclusive tournaments and draws. A dedicated adviser was presented as available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00 Central European Time. In the absence of written rules, this programme cannot be assessed on specific facts.

No regular cashback appeared in the archives consulted.

Games: slots, table games and live casino

The catalogue was Clover Spin's strong point. The home page archived on 24 June 2025 displayed the list of providers with the number of games from each. Adding up these counters gives 8,238 games spread across 75 providers. This total includes the live tables.

Slots

The biggest contributors were KA Gaming (844 games), Spinomenal (545), Pragmatic Play (509), Red Tiger (315), High 5 (284), Fazi (268) and Evoplay (247). There were also studios sought after by fans of high-volatility slots: Hacksaw Gaming (179 games), Nolimit City (111), Push Gaming (56), Big Time Gaming (62), ELK (125) and Yggdrasil (144). NetEnt appeared with 205 games, but the terms specified that its titles were not available in France, as in around fifty other countries.

The home page highlights illustrated the site's theme: Mechanical Clover and Clover Bonanza by BGaming, Charms and Clovers by Betsoft. A jackpots section grouped progressive slots from Betsoft and Nucleus, in addition to the in-house three-tier jackpot.

Table games and quick games

Virtual table games (roulette, blackjack, baccarat) and quick games from Spribe or BGaming, such as Plinko, rounded out the offering. The archives do not give their exact number.

Live casino

The live casino relied on two major providers: Evolution, with 642 titles, and Pragmatic Play Live, with 410 titles. Lucky Streak (7 titles) was added to these. These studios cover the classic roulette, blackjack and baccarat tables, as well as game shows. An important restriction appeared in the bonus terms: live games counted 0% towards wagering. Playing live with an active bonus therefore did not advance the required wagering.

Deposits and withdrawals at Clover Spin

The payments page archived on 22 May 2025 listed eleven payment methods, all advertised as fee-free. The minimum deposit was 20 €, as was the minimum withdrawal. Each transaction was limited to 1,000 €.

The word ‘instant’ referred to processing by the payment provider, not to the casino's approval of the withdrawal. The terms and conditions reserved the right to block a payment while the player's identity was being verified.

Withdrawal limits

The weak point was the limit. Under article 12 of the terms and conditions, a player could not withdraw more than 1,000 € per transaction, 2,500 € per week and 5,000 € per month, except by special arrangement for VIP players. Above 5,000 € in winnings, the casino reserved the right to pay in monthly instalments of no more than 5,000 €. Only progressive jackpots were paid in one go. In practice, a 20,000 € win would have taken four months of payments.

Clover Spin withdrawals: identity verification

Full verification was mandatory before any withdrawal. The terms required proof of identity, a selfie holding that document, proof of address and proof of the deposit method, for example a photo of both sides of the card. The casino also reserved the right to call the player. No processing time for documents was advertised. If the player remained unreachable two weeks after their withdrawal request, their account could be blocked.

In exceptional cases, bank transfers could incur intermediary bank fees, limited to the equivalent of 16 €. Deposits had to come from a payment method in the player's name, failing which winnings would be confiscated. Cryptocurrency deposits via CoinsPaid were not subject to personal deposit limits, as the terms themselves pointed out. And today?

Since the closure, the maintenance page invites account holders to request their withdrawals by email. No procedure or timeframe is specified.

Customer support and responsible gambling

Clover Spin's support used two channels: live chat on the site and the address support@cloverspin.com. The archived ‘About us’ page advertised a service ‘7 days a week’, and the French FAQ used the same wording. No specific hours were published, and no page promised 24-hour chat. The French FAQ had eight general questions (password, game fairness, documents, account closure), with no detailed help centre. Support in French was not advertised as such, even though the site and the FAQ existed in that language.

Since the closure, the chat is no longer accessible. Only the email address is still given, for withdrawal requests. We cannot say how quickly it responds.

Responsible gambling tools

The responsible gambling policy, updated on 25 October 2023, detailed several limits that could be set from the account:

• deposit limit per day, week or month;
• loss limit over the same periods, calculated on the initial deposit;
• session limit, from 6 minutes to several months, with automatic log-out;
• cooling-off period, during which deposits and promotions are blocked;
• self-exclusion for a fixed period, with immediate deactivation of the account.

Lowering a limit took effect immediately; raising one only after confirmation by email and once the previous limit had expired. Two reservations applied, however. Self-exclusion was only available for a fixed period, with automatic reactivation at the end. And cryptocurrency deposits were not covered by deposit limits.

Is Clover Spin legit? Operator, licence and security

According to the archived terms and conditions and footer, www.cloverspin.com was operated by Hollycorn N.V., a company incorporated under Curaçao law and registered under number 144359. Two addresses appeared depending on the page: Scharlooweg 39 in Willemstad, and Heelsumstraat 51, E-Commerce Park, in the French FAQ. The affiliate programme pointed to blossom-affiliates.com. Our listing does not give a launch date, and the archives do not provide one.

Two registers, two operators

The site advertised a licence from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, since renamed the Curaçao Gaming Authority, under number OGL/2023/176/0095. In the register published by the authority on 2 October 2026, Hollycorn N.V. does appear under this number, for an open-ended B2C licence. But the seal that appeared on cloverspin.com now returns ‘Not Found’ on the authority's portal: the domain is no longer attached to it.

The domain does, however, appear on the public register of the Anjouan gaming authority, consulted on 3 October 2026. It is one of the 29 domains covered by licence ALSI-202509073-FI2 held by Metlait SRL, issued on 30 September 2025 and valid until 29 September 2027. The same licence covers other casinos, including Casino Rocket, Rollero, Neospin and SkyCrown. The register publishes no registration number for Metlait SRL.

These two entries suggest that the brand has changed hands, or is about to, but no announcement confirms it: the site only displays its maintenance page, with no mention of an operator. Our methodology uses the Anjouan licence, which is in force and attached to the domain, so no score cap applies.

What an offshore licence implies

An Anjouan or Curaçao licence imposes anti-money laundering and minor protection rules. It does not offer the same guarantees as a European licence such as that of the Maltese authority, and it amounts to no authorisation in France. Clover Spin was never licensed by the ANJ, which authorises no online casino. On the other hand, no Cloverspin address appears on the blocking list published by the ANJ, consulted on 3 October 2026.

What we were unable to consult

The official domain now only returns the maintenance page: no live page could be read. The responsible gambling, payments, promotions and terms pages come from the archives. The complaints page and the privacy policy were not examined, and the Wayback Machine often refused our requests, which limited cross-checking.

Based on the archived terms and the Anjouan register, the average of the five criteria gives Clover Spin 7.8/10. This score describes the casino as it operated in 2025. As the casino is closed, it is removed from our rankings and carries no offer link.

Strengths and weaknesses

Clover Spin offered a very large catalogue, a proper live casino and four payment families with no advertised fees, and its domain remains covered by an Anjouan licence in force. On the other hand, the site has been closed since summer 2025, the terms excluded residents of France from both play and bonuses, and the 2,500 € weekly limit would have spread any large win over several months.

Who is it for?
